Apelon is a professional services company focused on medical terminology and health data interoperability. Apelon consultants advise customers on the use of standards, including LOINC, across a wide spectrum of health cre IT applications. Apelon also develops and supports terminology software including the open source Distributed Terminology System (DTS), as well as the commercially available Terminology Development Environment and TermWorks Web services kit for mapping and matching.
