San Diego County Public Health Laboratory
Our laboratory application is STARLIMS, and LOINC is used in electronic reporting from the program. Organisms and conditions are flagged by LOINC (and SNOMED) codes and reports are generated automatically in HL7 messages.
St. Cloud VAMC
Our laboratory tests are mapped to LOINC after the test is created into our laboratory package.
Sutter Health
We have assigned LOINC to all laboratory tests in our system standard laboratory system (Sunquest). This information is available to be sent our via interface, but we are not doing this at this time. We also store a LOINC with all order codes in our electronic health record system (Epic Epicare). We use the information there to help compare similar information coming from different reporting lab systems.
Technidata SAS
In our LIS product TD-Synergy version V11.11, mapping tables are available to convert customer defined test codes into LOINC codes in HL7 results messages sent to host system.

The Healthcare Business of Thomson Reuters uses LOINC to code our lab information products. The relationships we maintain between LOINC and other standard vocabularies enhance searching capability and navigational functionality within our products.

We utitilize LOINC through TruData, our vocabulary system, primarily to establish an enterprise-wide mapping space to provide clinical laboratory equivalency/standardization and mapping integrity across disparate data sources within our EMR, LIS, and external referenced laboratory entities. We also utilize LOINC as a component to drive a rule-based engine for the comprehensive classification of clinical laboratory/radiology results display hierarchy of local and LOINC terms as well as disease-based view.
