After receiving so much enthusiastic support from the LOINC community about creating an online user's forum, we worked to build the new forum into the process of migrating to our new web server. The goal for this forum is to be a place where LOINC implementers and adopters can openly discuss, collaborate, and help refine the LOINC standard. In the spirit of open development and because of its rich feature set, we chose the open source phpBB software to host this forum.
