7-Aminoclonazepam is a metabolite of clonazepam, a benzdiazepine drug used to treat or control seizures, panic attacks, and akathisia. Clonazepam's mode of action is to decrease abnormal electrical energy in the brain. It can cause side effects such as drowsiness, problems with coordination, and muscle or joint pain.
