Term Description
The American National Adult Reading Test (AmNART) is the American version of the NART, an oral reading test containing words with atypical grapheme to phoneme associations making it difficult to pronounce words phonetically. The test was developed to estimate premorbid intelligence of older adults. The premorbid estimate is used to improve the early diagnosis of dementia. PMID: 1779032
