Encephalitozoon sp 18S rRNA gene [Presence] in Specimen by NAA with non-probe detection
Detection of nucleic acids within the 18S rRNA gene of Encephalitozoon species in various specimens, including fecal and urine, to support the clinical diagnosis of microsporidiosis. This test is commonly performed on immunocompromised patients with persistent, watery diarrhea.
