Active
Term Description
The Skindex-16 is a patient reported outcome instrument designed to asses how bothersome the effects of skin disease are in three areas of patient quality of life, symptoms, emotions and functioning. The Skindex-16 is general in nature and can be used for patients regardless of specific skin disease. Using on a Likert scale of 0 (Never) to 6 (Always), the patient rates how often of each skin disease effect has been over the preceding week. Skindex-16 provides a single score for each area (symptoms, emotions and functioning) as well as an average score. PMID: 22284137
