Join colleagues from around the world at this event dedicated to LOINC and interoperability
Experts focused on addressing health data interoperability issues will coalesce at the 2023 LOINC Conference for four days of education, community presentations, and networking. Join a wide range of participants—software and device manufacturers, healthcare providers, patients, reference labs, government agencies, researchers, students, and others—at this special event.
We are still welcoming sponsors for this event. The event facility and accommodations in Atlanta, Georgia are to be determined.
There is an online option, however, we strongly encourage in-person attendance to take advantage of face-to-face networking and question/answer opportunities.
A day devoted to LOINC learning
The LOINC experts at Regenstrief Institute will lead an entire day dedicated to educational sessions. This optional first day of the conference will serve to provide a framework for newer users and bolster foundational LOINC knowledge for our advanced users. There will be sessions on creating LOINC concept requests, use of LOINC in FHIR, and demonstrations of available tooling.
Productive committee meetings
Everyone is welcome to attend the public meetings of the LOINC Committee. Together we will discuss current issues and review recent developments in LOINC.
This day will also include the Clem McDonald Lecture, our conference keynote, and other plenary sessions.
Engaging presentations from the community
Various members of the LOINC community will present their work around implementation of the standard in a series of sessions across multiple tracks.
We are still collecting presentation proposals for this year. To get a sense of topics, review the schedule of the 2022 LOINC Conference held in Annecy, France. We anticipate the full schedule to be announced during the month of June.
Access to conference resources
Learning doesn't stop at the conclusion of the conference. As a paid attendee, you will have access to slides and recordings for all workshops and presentations. That way you can catch any of the sessions you may have missed. Please allow two weeks for resources to be processed and made available.
Registrations for online participation will be accepted until 12 October 2023.
