Adding New LOINCs to and Existing Panel

Hello,

I’m looking for guidance on adding new terms to an existing panel. I recently created a panel in LOINC for a client. The needed the panel to be completed to meet the deadline for inclusion in CCDAr2. Now the client would like to add some more items to the panel.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Hello and thanks for the inquiry. We are always looking for panel suggestions. If the request does not involve any new terms (say you want to add existing terms to an existing panel), you can always request changes to existing LOINC content. If new panel terms or new terms are needed, please submit a new term request. There are instructions for both procedures here: https://loinc.org/submissions.
