Loinc Code for Referral note to Hepatology

Hello all,

 

I was recently made aware that there is no loinc code for referral note to Hepatology. I need to map the specialty to something to ensure we are getting the proper credit in reporting. I wanted to ask if some of you using the GI code for Hepatology since they are so close?

If the GI code is not suitable for your facility, please consider submitting for a new Referral Note:Finding:Pt:{Setting}:Doc:Hepatology clinical term. This can be accomplished quite easily under menu option Content at the top of this page.
