I was told a few years ago that the “RELATEDNAMES2” column in the database was no longer being updated or monitored for accuracy. When performing an on-line search, is this not the field that is being used for sourcing when a general search is being performed using the Search Loinc query?
The best example that I have at the moment is search using “KUB” and there will be more loinc codes provided than expected (ei. What does an ankle x-ray have to do with a KUB?)
