The search LOINC function should be able to find all currently released LOINC codes. Have you entering the actual LOINC number into the search box? If that doesn’t work, please provide specific examples of the LOINC codes that you cannot find.

    Charles,

We have had several people examine the file and they have been able to find the LOINC codes that you have listed. Could you please download the file again and take another look? https://loinc.org/downloads/loinc/

The MAP_TO table is used to identify the appropriate replacement for LOINC terms that have been DEPRECATED or DISCOURAGED. You can find a detailed explanation in section 11.2 of the LOINC Users’ Guide.

I have examined the MAP_TO table distributed in the 2.59 release of LOINC. I can find no LOINC number in the MAP_TO.LOINC or MAP_TO.MAP_TO column that does not also appear in the LOINC.LOINC column. Can you please provide examples of the LOINC numbers that you cannot find?

    Gerri,

There is no radiology option in the batch process system. As the name implies, it has been optimized for lab terms a few releases batch.

However, both the mapping screen and basic search screen have drop down menus that let you choose the “Clinical Automapper” search algorithm.  Just click the dropdown that says “Standard Search” by default.

Hope this helps at least a little.

    Geralyn,

The RELMA “Intelligent Mapper” is included with the RELMA program. It now goes by the name “Lab Auto Mapper.” It is available from the top level menu of the program. As the name implies, several years ago it was optimized for use with lab terms. Detailed instructions of its use are included in the RELMA users’ manual.  I hope that it performs well with your local codes.

    Vladimir,

Thank you for letting us know about this problem. We will work to get it resolved.

As a work around, I recommend that you use the built in RELMA help feature. It contains the same information in the user manual but in a more interactive format. You can get to the help by clicking the “?” button on either the search screen or the mapping screen. You can also access the help by pressing the F1 key.

    Happy LOINCing,

The fields are the same. Looks like it is just an inconsistency in our release process.

    Karanvir,

Sorry to hear that are having issues with RELMA. The process you describes seems like it should work. However, an easier way to share an LMOF file is described in our FAQ available here.

I can work with you to try to resolve the issue with your LMOF. You can contact me via the RELMA support form available here.

    Valdimir,

I have been able to duplicate your results. This is obviously a bug in the system. Thank you for reporting. We will try to have it corrected in the next release.

We do not distribute the LOINC parts as part of our distribution, though it has been discussed at length at recent committee meetings.

The LOINC answer lists are available for download as part of the “LOINC Panels and Forms File” which is available at http://loinc.org/downloads. The answer lists are not currently available as a separate file.

    Rachel,

When you install the RELMA program several sample files will be included. In a standard installation they are located in your  C:\Users\Public\Documents\RELMA\Samples directory

Two of the files are TAB delimited files that you can import using the “Import Local terms from Delimited File or Excel Spreadsheet” option.   The 3rd file is a de-identified file of HL7 messages that you can import using the “Import Local Terms from HL7 File” option on the file menu.
