Description
LP230268-7 Gamma aminobutyrate B receptor
Gamma aminobutyrate B receptor (GABABR) is a neural surface cell synaptic antigen and is associated with limbic encephalitis and orolingual dyskinesias. Symptoms of limbic encephalitis include delirium, mood change, memory and personality disturbance and focal seizures of mesial temporal type with or without secondary generalization. Antibodies against GABABR indicate the possibility of undiscovered small cell lung cancer or other neuroendocrine neoplasia. [PMCID:PMC3726118]
