Part Descriptions
LP6617-7 US.doppler
Doppler ultrasound detects the shift in frequency of ultrasound signals reflected from moving objects. Conventional Doppler techniques assess the velocity of blood flow by measuring high-frequency, low-amplitude signals from small, fast-moving blood cells. PMID: 16534017

LP73417-5 Stroke volume
Stroke volume is the volume of blood pumped from one ventricle of the heart during a single beat. It is the difference between the volume at the end of diastole, at which point the ventricle is done filling and is at its maximum volume (also known as maximum end-diastolic volume), and the end of systole, at which point the ventricle has finished pumping but has not yet started filling (also known as minimum end-systolic volume).
