The Fracture Risk Assessment (FRAX®) tool is used to estimate a patient's major osteoporotic fracture (forearm, hip, or shoulder fracture, or clinical vertebral fracture) [LOINC: 90265-0] as well as of hip fracture specificaly [LOINC: 90266-8]. It includes questions about age, weight, height, smoking, alcohol use, family history of hip fracture, glucocorticoid use (e.g., Prednisone), rheumatoid arthritis and bone mineral density (BMD) at the femoral neck.[https://www.sheffield.ac.uk/FRAX/]
