Tree allergen mix 5 (tx5, TP5) detects Grey alder (T2), Hazelnut (T4), White elm (T8), Willow (T12), and Cottonwood (T14) IgE antibodies. Testing for IgE antibodies may be used to help diagnose an allergic disease or the cause of an anaphylactic episode in a patient.
