Ureaplasma urealyticum+Ureaplasma parvum DNA [Presence] in Specimen by NAA with probe detection
Active
Term Description
Qualitative detection of nucleic acids from Ureaplasma urealyticum/parvum in various specimens by nucleic acid amplification with probe-based detection. This test detects but does not distinguish between the two Ureaplasma species.

Part Description
LP145576-7 Ureaplasma urealyticum+Ureaplasma parvum
Ureaplasma parvum and Ureaplasma urealyticum are a bacteria species of Genus Ureaplasma and potentially pathogenic, causing both genital infections and male infertility. Ureaplasma species inhabit both the respiratory and urogenital tracts and are among the sexually transmitted infections. They can be detected in specimens by various methods, including culture and molecular methods. PMID: 17988404
