Measures the progress of glaucoma. The cup-to-disc ratio compares the diameter of the "cup" portion of the optic disc with the total diameter of the optic disc. Results are a decimal range from 0.0 to 1.0.

The cup to disc ratio is the ratio of the diameter of the optic disc cup to the diameter of the optic disc. Normal is less than 0.5, and a ratio larger than 0.5 raises the suspicion of glaucoma.
