Part Description
LP262439-5 Enterovirus G
Enterovirus G (EV-G) is a small, non-enveloped virus with a positive-sense single-stranded RNA genome that belongs to the Picornavirdae family and the Enterovirus genus. EV-G was formerly known as Porcine enterovirus B, which included the prototype viruses PEV-9 and PEV-10, both of which have been reclassified as EV-G1 and EV-G2, respectively. There are eleven types of EV-G that have been identified in Asia, Europe, and recently North America. EV-G infection is usually asymptomatic and has been identified in the feces of asymptomatic pigs in Asia and Europe and wild boars in Hungary.[http://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0097517]
