Description
Coxsackievirus A9 (CVA9) is non-enveloped, icosahedral, positive-sense RNA virus that is classified as part of the Human enterovirus B group (HEV-B). Symptoms of infection with CVA9 include respiratory infections, myocarditis, encephalitis, paralysis, rash, and severe generalized infections in newborns.
