The Mediterranean Flour Moth, Indian Flour Moth or Mill Moth (Ephestia kuehniella) is a moth of the family Pyralidae. Sensitization to moth has been shown to be quite common. It seems to be mostly an occupational allergen.
Allergen-exposure can occur at moth breeding (rearing) industries for pest control and as a contaminating factor in flour and cereals.
