Chylomicrons, also known as ultra low-density lipoproteins (ULDL), are lipoproteins made by intestinal cells that carry dietary lipids through the lymph system after they have been digested and absorbed into the lymphatic system. They consist of mostly triglycerides as well as phospholipids, cholesterol, and proteins. Chylomicrons are expected to be absent in body fluids. Source: Regenstrief Institute
