Descriptions

Lidocaine or lignocaine is a common local anesthetic and antiarrhythmic drug. The most commonly encountered lidocaine preparations are marketed by AstraZeneca under the brand names Xylocaine and Xylocard, though lidocaine is also found in many other proprietary preparations.
