Description
Interleukin-2 (IL-2) is a cytokine that regulates the differentiation and proliferation of immune cells.The IL-2 receptor (IL-2R) has three subunits, and different combinations of these subunits have varying affinity for IL-2. The soluble form of the IL-2 receptor (sIL-2R) does not have cell membrane and cytoplasmic components but retains the ability to bind IL-2.
