Description
Chromosomal translocation t(11;18)(q21;q21) is found in B-cell non Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) and the Mucosa-Associated Lymphoid Tissue (MALT) type of marginal zone B-cell lymphoma (MZBCL). MALT-type lymphoma most often involves the stomach, where it usually follows chronic gastritis due to Helicobacter pylori (HP) infection.
