Description

Diethylpropion is a sympathomimetic amine (similar to amphetamine) that acts as an appetite suppressant and is used to treat obesity. It is a prodrug that is metabolized into active N, N-diethylnorephedrine metabolites that stimulate the release of norepinephrine (noradrenaline) and inhibit its reuptake.
