B-cell CD27 & IgD subsets panel
Active
Description
CD27 is a lymphocyte cell surface marker. B lymphocytes that do not express CD27 are typically classified as naive, while those that do are classified as memory cells. Mature circulating B cells can be separated into three subpopulations based on cell surface CD27 and IgD expression: 1) naive B cells (CD27-IgD+); 2) memory B cells that have not undergone immunoglobulin class switching (CD27+IgD+); and 3) memory B cells that have class switched (CD27+IgD-).
