Version 2.78

Description

The extent of progressive sperm motility is related to pregnancy rates. As an assessment of sperm motility, 100 spermatozoa are counted and given a grade for progressive motility of 1,2,3,or 4, with 1 being the slowest and 4 the fastest. Grade sperm 1 are sluggish and make little forward progress. Grade 2 sperm move forward but are very slow or do not move in a straight line. The result is the percentage of the combined grades 1 and 2 (lowest to mid-motility). The total combined percent of grade 1 and 2 sperm should be less than 58% to be considered in range.
