Description
The sperm motility index (SMI) is determined by an automated, method that reflects the concentration of motile sperm and the intensity of their motility. The SMI shows a good correlation with manual assessment of sperm density, motility, and morphology. PMID: 9466001 SMI > 160 is considered "Good", 80-160 is "Medium", and <80 is "Poor".
