Description
Maximum inspiratory pressure (MIP) is the maximum pressure that can be generated against an occluded airway beginning at functional residual capacity (FRC) and reflects the strength and function of inspiratory muscles. Maximum expiratory pressure (MEP) reflects the strength and function of expiratory muscles.
