3D printed model
Active
Description
3-dimensional (3D) printed models can be created using various 3D technologies, including inkjet, stereolithography, and fused-deposition modeling. Such models have been used for various purposes, including preoperative planning, creation of custom prostheses, teaching and research. DICOM images from CT, MR and US imaging can be used as templates for 3D models by converting the DICOM file to one of the formats compatible with 3D printing.
