Pure tone threshold audiometry panel
Active
Description
The hearing threshold measurement panel includes results for the individual measurements reported on an audiogram. A typical audiogram includes independent measurements of the lowest intensity level at which a sound can be heard at a series of frequencies for each ear. Intensity is proportional to sound pressure and is related to the perception of loudness, while frequency is related to the perception of pitch. Thresholds are assessed in both the air conduction and bone conduction ranges, which are 250-8000 Hz and 250-4000 Hz, respectively. [NCBI Books: NBK207835] Source: Regenstrief LOINC
