Cyclin-dependent kinase 4
Active
Description
Cyclin-dependent kinase 4 (CDK4) is encoded by the CDK4 gene and plays a role in regulating the cell cycle during the transition between G1 and S phases. Mutations in the CDK4 gene are associated with cutaneous malignant melanoma 3. [UniProt: P11802] CDK4 inhibitors, including palbociclib, ribociclib, and abemaciclib, are used to treat patients with HR+/HER2− advanced breast cancer. PMID: 29847850 Source: Regenstrief LOINC
