Sensory nerve conduction velocity
Active
Description
The sensory conduction velocity is the speed at which a nerve impulse travels and is calculated based on the distance between the stimulation and recording sides and the latency. The conduction velocity is affected by temperature, which is why it is important to monitor and maintain optimal limb temperature during the study. PMID: 15961865 Source: Regenstrief LOINC
