Description
The soluble urokinase plasminogen activator receptor (suPAR) is a product of the urokinase plasminogen activator/urokinase plasminogen activator receptor system, which is an important regulator of inflammation, immunity, and coagulopathy. The level of suPAR has been found to be significantly elevated in patients with COVID-19, and higher levels have been associated with increased risk of COVID-19 complications.
