Cefquinome is a parenteral cephalosporin derivative antimicrobial drug. It has a broad antibacterial spectrum that includes Staphylococcus aureus, streptococci, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and members of the Enterobacteriaceae family, such as Escherichia coli, species of Salmonella, Klebsiella, Enterobacter and Citrobacter, and Serratia marcescens.
