Term Description
The 6-item Transportation Security Index is an abbreviated version of the 16-item Transportation Security Index. It captures the lived experiences of people experiencing transportation insecurity, and it has been validated using a nationally representative survey. The index can be used to assign respondents a continuous score representing their level of transportation insecurity or to categorize respondents as experiencing no insecurity or insecurity that is marginal, low, moderate, or high.
