Term Description
The Positive Childhood Experiences (PCEs) survey instrument is a brief, validated tool designed to assess the presence of supportive and protective factors in childhood that promote resilience and long-term well-being. It was developed as a complement to the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) framework, recognizing that not all outcomes are determined by adversity-positive relational and community experiences can buffer risks and foster healthy development.
