LP15155-2 Immunoglobulin light chains
Immunoglobulin (Ig) light chains consist of 211 to 217 amino acid residues with a molecular weight of approximately 22 kDa. There are two major types of light chains, kappa and lambda. Two Ig light chains and two Ig heavy chains make one immunoglobulin (IgG) molecule. IgM is a pentamer (made of 5 IgG molecules) .
