Term Description
Measurement of respondent's symptoms of alcohol abuse and dependence. These responses correspond with criteria from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (4th ed.; DSM-IV). Respondents are only asked this question if they answered "yes" to the Alcohol - Lifetime Use measure.
