Term Description

Based on a population aged 55 to 84 years, free of stroke at baseline amnd including predictors age, systolic blood pressure, cigarette smoking, prior cardiovascular disease, atrial fibrillation, left ventricular hypertrophy and use of hypertensive medication. Numerical scores are correlated with risk percentages.
