LP185857-2 Mitragynine+7-Hydroxymitragynine
7-Hydroxymitragynine (mitragynine hydroxyindolenine), a terpenoid indole alkaloid in the plant Mitragyna speciosa, is a derivative of Mitragynine (also called Kratom). It has opioid agonistic activity and more potent than Mitrgyna or morphine. 7-Hydroxymitragynine is orally active in animals as an analgesic, and produces normal opioid side effects including constipation, (though significantly less than morphine), and the development of tolerance and withdrawal syndrome upon abstinence

LP185857-2 Mitragynine+7-Hydroxymitragynine
Mitragynine (MG) is one of the primary alkaloids of kratom, which is the name given to the leaves and leaf extracts of the Mitragyna speciose tree. It is not an opioid but has similar effects without the same degree of respiratory depression and potential for abuse. Kratom was used for centuries in parts of the world, including Southeast Asia where the tree is native, for pain management, and more recently has been used for opioid withdrawal. However, its use is controversial, and it is illegal in some parts of the world, including Thailand, Australia, and many other countries, as well as several states in the United States.
