Term Description
Local clinical document terms should be mapped to LOINC terms specifying the Kind of Document (e.g. Letter, Note, Report, etc.) AND at least one other axis value (Type of Service, Subject Matter Domain, etc.) (see the LOINC Document Ontology section in the LOINC Users' Guide). Since this term only includes the Kind of Document, it should be post-coordinated with one of the LOINC terms included in the LOINC Document Ontology associated observations panel [LOINC: 80582-0].
