This panel was created for, but is not limited in use to, the College of American Pathologists' Protocol for the Examination of Specimens From Patients With Primary Carcinoma of the Colon and Rectum from January 2016 and the College of American Pathologists' Template for Reporting Results of Biomarker Testing of Specimens From Patients With Carcinoma of the Colon and Rectum 1.2.0.0 from December 2014. As of June 2017, the panel does not contain concepts for which the American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) holds the copyright.
