Term Description
The predicted risk of an adverse drug reaction based on the variant(s) detected. For example, a patient who is HLA-B*57:01 positive has a significant risk of abacavir hypersensitivity reactions (HSR). For individuals taking pazopanib and found to be HLA-B*57:01 carriers, they have an increased risk of elevated alanine aminotransferase (ALT) levels when taking pazopanib.
