Term Description

The Finnish Diabetes Risk Score (FINDRISC) combines categorical scores for age, body mass index, waist circumference, high blood pressure medication use, high blood glucose, physical activity, and consumption of fruits and vegetables, into an overall score identify risk level for developing type 2 diabetes. Higher scores are associated with greater risk for developing type 2 diabetes. PMID: 12610029
