Post COVID-19 functional status scale [PCFS]
Active
Term Description
The Post-COVID-19 Functional Status (PCFS) scale was designed as a simple measure of the overall impact of the symptoms of COVID-19 infection on a person's functional ability. It can be administered periodically after hospital discharge to monitor recovery and guide possible medical interventions. The tool incorporates limitations in daily activities and well as lifestyle changes. PCFS Grades represent an increasing range of functional impact, from Grade 0 (no impact) to Grade 4 (severe functional limitations), subsequent patient death is recorded as Grade D. PMID: 32398306
