The Children's Health Watch Housing Stability Vital Signs tool screens for housing-related risks, by looking at the ability to pay for housing, homelessness, and frequent moves in the previous 12 months. The screen is considered positive, at risk for housing instability, if the patient has moved more than twice, been homeless or not been able to pay the mortgage or rent on time in the previous 12 months.
