Ross River virus (RRV) is a species in the genus Alphavirus, family Togaviridae. https://talk.ictvonline.org/taxonomy/p/taxonomy-history?taxnode_id=201905103 RRV is a mosquito-borne virus that is common in Australia. Symptoms of RRV disease include fever, joint and muscle pain, and lethargy and may last 6 months or longer.
