Description
Promyelocytes (or progranulocytes) are immature granulocytes developed from myeloblasts and developing into myelocytes. Abnormal accumulation of promyelocytes is seen in acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL), a cancer of the blood and bone marrow. Source: Regenstrief LOINC
